Quality Control

The quality of our sensors are very important to us. Although we always aim to provide sensors at affordable prices, we never sacrifice quality in doing so.

Here are some of the tests we perform to some of our sensors 

Durability Test

After randomly picking up a sensor, we place the sensor on a specially designed rig for this test. The test consists on passing a magnet at the bottom of the sensor for about 14h, this is enough time for the magnet to pass underneath the sensor for more than 100 000 times. The video is then examine to see if the sensor missed any of the passes of the magnet. The sensor did not miss a single pass of the magnet, and after more than 100 000 laps (passes of the magnet) the sensor still works perfectly. ​

Weather Resistant Test

In this test we leave the sensor exposed to the elements. After a week, we visually examine closely the sensor to see if it has been affected by the test. After checking that the sensor is visually unaffected, we fully test the functionality of the sensor.

Water Proof Test

In this test we submerge in water one of our sensors for 1h. Then we visually examine closely the sensor to see if it has been affected by the test. After checking that the sensor is visually unaffected, we fully test the functionality of the sensor.

Temperature Test

The aim of this test is to make sure our sensors will stand different temperatures and climates. First we place the sensor on an enclosed chamber where it's heated up to 40c. Then we visually examine closely the sensor to see if it has been affected by the test. After checking that the sensor is visually unaffected, we fully test the functionality of the sensor.

Then we keep the sensor for 1h in a -10c environment. After the test is completed 
 we visually examine closely the sensor to see if it has been affected by the test. After checking that the sensor is visually unaffected, we fully test the functionality of the sensor.
